The ODM Time Client COM object allows you to rescue the contemporaneous Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) from stretch servers on the Internet. The ODMTimeClient object requests and returns the stretch from servers that exercise the Network Time Protocol (RFC 868).

You can exercise this object in any application where you miss reliable and accurate stretch and year settings. This control can also be employed to automatically sync your system year and stretch to a stretch server.

A Visual Basic 6 representation application is provided to demonstrate how to exercise the object.

Source code to object is accessible to acquire. The application was written in VC++ 6.0.
